Youth Art Month and Abilities Arts Celebration in Flowing Colors Studio

In celebration of Youth Arts Month, Flowing Colors features  Megan Cowans, Brandon Lee and Opal Mills; and the art of Cori Mitchell in celebration of Abilities Arts Month.

Megan Cowans
Megan Cowans is a local photographer who practices portraiture and landscape photography.

Opal Mills Pendant

Opal Mills has been creating artwork in miniature form for as long as she can remember, always with an emphasis on jewelry making, fueled by inspiration from the natural world.

Brandon Lee has been drawing most of his life with his favorite medium of charcoal.  He took his first real drawing class junior year of high school.  Being raised by two artists, Brandon says that he quickly learned that art was for him. Currently he works at Upland Brewpub and is an avid skateboarder, which has become just about as important to him as his art.  He hopes to attend an art institute.

  1. Nice! You can have an exhibition for such things. I have always been interested in art and craft. I arranged an exhibition in one of the home studios NYC last year. I made paintings and carvings that was liked by a lot of people.

  2. Take the time to ask everyone you know if they can recommend a seamstress. Look in the yellow pages for businesses that do alterations because they have leads on dressmakers.
