If you are out and about on first Friday, August 4,
2017, come up to the Flowing Colors Studio to spend time with the art and enjoy Patricia C. Coleman as she demonstrates folding
the Tetraflexagon as a book structure and share examples that explore some of
its many decorative possibilities.
Flexagons are flat models, usually constructed by
folding strips of paper that can be flexed or folded in certain ways to reveal
faces besides the two that were originally on the back and front. Interested
persons can sign up for an August Tea with Arts Workshop in the Flowing Colors
Studio. These mathematical artist book
structures can be the jumping off place for creative investigation and artistic
expression.
